Hi, I'm a mother of two Toddlers and I love toys. As soon as I was pregnant I started to study (independently) parenting, children psychology and how to raise healthy balanced children. Specially mentally and emotionally. And I found out that our number one priority should be to show them and express our unconditional love and acceptance. Second, we should provide routine, stability and predictability. And third, we should provide time and space to play alone and with friends. In fact, most of their abilities and learning comes through play. Cognitive, motor and social skills as well as emotional intelligence. The later has been proven to be essential for their success as future adults. Not to mention the power of pretend play and open-ended toys in helping their brains develop, processing their realities and learning who they are, what they love, what they dislike and form a healthy genuine personality. 

Anyways, living in Egypt I started to look for good toys for my kids. I found some great toy- makers here but it wasn’t easy to find. I also started making the toys that I couldn’t find here myself. What was readily available was mainly plastic, battery operated and short-lived toys from China. 

As a result, I gave birth to a 3rd little baby: Pontou Toyshop.  It’s a gourmet toyshop with only high-quality products on its shelves. 

Our mission is to help your kids grow happy and joyful.

 أنا لارا عندي ( Pontou Toyshop (online ، أنا أم لطفلين وبحب الألعاب. لما كنت حامل بدأت أدرس عن تربية الأطفال وعلم نفس الأطفال وكيفية تربية أطفال أصحاء متوازنين عقليا وعاطفيا، ولاقيت أن أولويتنا الأولى لازم تكون التعبير عن حبنا وقبولنا غير المشروط ليهم  ، ولازم نوفر الروتين والاستقرار . أننا نوفر الوقت والمساحة عشان يلعبوا لوحدهم أو مع اصحابهم.

 ، الي أكتشفته أن معظم قدراتهم وتعلمهم بيجي  من خلال اللعب. المهارات المعرفية والحركية والاجتماعية والذكاء العاطفي. 

وأن ده مرتبط بنجاحهم لما يكبروا في المستقبل. 

ده غير أهمية اللعب التخيلي والألعاب ذات النهايات المفتوحة في مساعدة عقولهم على التطور وفهم واقعهم ونفسهم ويعرفوا هما مين وبيحبوا ايه وبيكرهوا ايه وتشكيل شخصيتهم الحقيقية الصحية

انا عايشه في مصر  وكنت بدور علي العاب جديدة لاطفالي . 

 ولاقيت صانعي العاب مبهرين هنا ولكن ده مكنش سهل اني الاقيهم فقررت اجمع كل الألعاب دي في مكان واحد، ده غيري اني ابتديت في تصنيع الألعاب الي معرفتش الاقيها في مصر. معظم الي كنت بلاقيه كانت ألعابً بلاستيك رديئة وعمرها قصير ومضرة للبيئة. كانت نتيجة ده اني في الاخر أقرر اعمل  Pontou Toyshop. 

محل ألعاب  عالية الجودة فقط و معظمها من الخشب ومواد صديقة للبيئة . وهدف بونتو هو مساعدة  أن الاطفال على النمو بسعادة وبهجة.
